About a month ago, we had a chance to get together with friends from out-of-town. My friend, Scott Snyder, whom I've known since elementary school, was back in town from Osh, Kyrgyzstan where he and his wife & kids have been living the last 2 years. This is a picture of us with them taken at the Hendersons' house (Jennifer's parents):
For some reason, their beautiful children, Molly, Wesley & Morgan weren't in the picture. We're getting together again soon; we'll try to get a complete family pic then.Also at the Hendersons' that evening were Jennifer's sister & husband & kids, Stephanie & Scott Oberhoff. It just so happens that Chris & this Scott have been friends since being in youth group together at Sugar Creek, in middle school, I think. Add up the years of friendship represented in that room that night...Wow!

Again, for some reason, there are people missing: Stephanie and Luke. (I think Luke was already snoozing the night away.)
Hopefully, our kids will get to know each other well enough to continue the friendships for generations to come...
