Finally...

I'm not sure how nearly a month passed by without a new post. So, I'll try to catch up a bit. Cooper is doing great! He will be 8 months old next weekend. This morning he weighed in at 18 1/2 pounds. Still no teeth (yea!), but still teething (boo!). He's trying to get used to the new sippy cups that Gran bought for him. They've got lots of soft, rubbery coating on the spouts, so for now he just likes to chew on them. :)

He's still not officially crawling, but can pretty much get where he wants to go. I told Chris today that if he really wanted to crawl, he'd be doing it right now. But, he seems content to just hang out most of the time. When he's in the mood, he will get up on his hands and knees and can move forward a couple of "steps", then flops on his tummy and kicks & squirms the rest of the way.

He's discovered that he likes playing underneath the coffee table, too!

He's enjoying playing in his room more now. It's good to have more options for him during the day. I'll probably regret it when he's totally mobile, though. I can just see him now racing through the house to go to which ever room he wants.

Another "fun" thing his Pop taught him how to do recently is "blowing raspberries" while eating his veggies. The result? This lovely montage:

Today we just hung out with Daddy and watched football. Can't you just see him throwing or catching the winning touchdown someday?
