Cooper is now 7 months old and a hurricane veteran. :) He is really trying to be mobile. One milestone he accomplished while camping out at Aunt Lindsay & Uncle Tony's house--I found him sitting up in the crib after a nap! Luckily, their crib was set low, so he wasn't in danger of climbing/falling out. When we got back home, we had to lower his crib. Now he goes from lying down to sitting up on his own whenever he pleases. He was always pretty active upon waking up in the mornings or from a nap. But now? Whoa! I always find him upside-down or sideways amidst the debris of overturned bear and blanket, etc. upon which he's wreaked havoc. He's also been getting up on his knees a lot, rocking back and forth. And look out when he's on the floor--he'll be rolling your way any second! He's still such a sweet baby, laughing and babbling like crazy now, too. Chris swears that he said "Da-da" yesterday. More like, "da-da-da-da-da-da-da...", but I guess we'll give it to him. Enjoy the pics!

Soon he will begin one of my least favorite phases: when they learn to pull up and stand in their crib, BUT, they don't know how to get back down yet. Aye yi yi. Wreaks havoc on sleeptime!! You will be summoned - loudly - to a little one standing. So you go and lie him back down. And before you are out of the room, he is standing again. So you lie him back down again. And before you are out of the room...
