New floors!

We just spent the last week painting our living room & hallway and installing laminate floors. Well, I should say that Chris and I painted, and Chris and my dad installed the floors. It took a lot longer than we thought, but hey, it's summer! It all looks so nice. We also rearranged the furniture and it really opened things up. Cash even got a new bed so he'll have a comfy place to lay on the new floor. (He's the main reason the carpet had to go--it was getting pretty dull looking!) We're hoping those flooring commercials that feature the Great Dane named "Pergo" will hold true for us--('we named him after the only thing he couldn't destroy' is their quote). I'm sure Cooper will enjoy scooting, crawling, toddling, and racing his cars & trucks across them for years to come!
(By the way--the paint looks really yellow in these pics, but it's called "champagne gold" and is not as yellowy as it looks; more neutral.)
