Father's Day Weekend

I'm way behind in updating...let's travel back to Father's Day first!

Chris and I celebrated on that Friday, going out to dinner and to a movie by ourselves (thanks Gran & Pop!). Saturday, Chris helped some friends move in the morning, then we attended a wedding that evening. Cooper was passed all around at the reception, but I neglected to bring the camera. :{

Sunday we went to church then celebrated at lunch with Chris's family. It also happened to be Uncle Tony's birthday. After a yummy Mexican food lunch, we went home and napped until time to head out to Simonton to celebrate with my family. Cooper was a real trooper with all the goings on.

Iam so incredibly thankful for all of the fathers in my life, and to my Heavenly Father for them all. My dad has been such an incredible example of following the Lord no matter what comes along... or doesn't. And in marrying Chris, I also have a very Godly father-in-law as well. I know both of them pray for us regularly and their love and encouragement are deeply felt. I am especially thankful for Cooper's father, on his first Father's Day. I can't imagine being on the journey of parenting with anyone else, and am so blessed that he is such a Godly man who loves me more than I ever dreamed my husband would. Happy Father's Day, Babe!
