On Thursday, May 1st, Cooper and I paid a visit to my students to congratulate them on completing their TAKS tests (state exams), and so they could finally meet the little guy that they watched grow all school year! They were pretty excited to see us. Cooper had fallen asleep in the truck on the way there and slept through most of the visit, however. So we had to snap pictures while he snoozed. The boys and girls wanted equal time, so we took two separate pics. By the way, the awesome stroller (travel system) was a gift from the students and parents of my class!
It was definitely strange going back to visit. It seems like a looong time ago that I was there every day. Neither job is easy, but I know for certain that I'm dong the one I'm meant to do now.
