Sick Week

So...I finally got a playdate organized, and actually had more than one playmate participating....and Coop started feeling lousy & running a low-grade fever. Wouldn't you know it??? Since we were scheduled to play outside at a park w/lots of running/sweating, etc., I decided to cancel.

Two days later, he was diagnosed w/double ear infections. So... at least it was legit!
Thus began a very long week. By Saturday, Coop was feeling a little better, but still pretty congested. And that morning, I woke up feeling ROTTEN--fever, chills, aches, the whole bit. On Sunday, Chris fell victim, too.
We were quite a pitiful looking crew!
The more we cratered, the more Cooper was perking up. Chris stayed home from work Monday, but went back Tuesday and I was on my own again.
It was a very long week. (Did I say that already?)
I tried to keep him occupied with fun stuff that still enabled me to rest between all of the coughing/snorting/nose blowing.

The winner? Good ol' Play-doh!
Except, a much fancier version than I ever had. Aunt Lindsay found this monstrous set for his birthday. He loves it!

"Cutting." Note the concentration and specialized grip.

Oh yea... THIS is really how you hold scissors.

SQUEEEEEEEZE!

"I made a spider, Mama!"
