Easter Weekend

Easter Weekend began with a Good Friday Brunch at Grandma & Pa's.

There was so much good food!

Uncle Tony reading an oldie but goodie to Coop.

(He is a little afraid of the idea of a Big Bad Wolf,

but loves the huffing & puffing!)

Chris & his sweet Mama.

Time to bake some Easter cookies!

Everybody got a turn to place them on the pan.

Then it was time to see what was in their baskets!

Irony of ironies, Cooper is not a fan of candy. (I know!)
But he loved the eggs filled with Goldfish, marshmallows, and dinosaurs!

Let's go hunt for more eggs!

Found one in Pa's garden.

Posing with their loot.

Silly cousins.

Sometimes I wonder what Jill thinks of these crazy big kids.

Time for a little cruisin' round the cul-de-sac.

Then back inside to dye Easter eggs.

The fun never stops!

The waiting is the hardest part...

Finally!

Success!

Then Pa announced a surprise...

Their neighbors had some baby chicks hatch yesterday!

Cooper was intrigued...

then enamored.

Sooo soft!

I love you, baby chick.
