and so it begins. putting things together. it's a car seat for crying out loud! why cant you just use duct tape? i've got lots of it. anyone out there with me?

I recommend car seats that have easily adjustable harness straps. In Maryland, anyway, we'll have a warm day followed by a cold one where the kids need to be bundled up in their coats--it's nice when you don't have to pull the whole car seat out to adjust for extra coat bulk.
Most Police Dept.s will install your car seat for you. They also tell you all kinds of great info that the owner's manual doesn't. You did READ the owner's manual didn't you Chris? You know it's that little book that came with the seat that tells how to use it. I'm quite sure duct tape isn't in there. Although that is how Chad was going to attach Caleb's infant carrier to the 4-wheeler!
Car seats are only the beginning! Just wait until you have to put some elaborate toy together on Christmas Eve!
If you need any help with car seats, let us know...we're semi-pros. We actually had to buy a new one recently because the one we bought for Gabriel expired. Who knew car seats expired?
